Could you ever consider drinking a glass of fat?
No, we’re not crazy, neither is this a joke. Recent research has shown that having an easy take away meal is the equivalent of consuming a nice glass filled with, you guessed it, pure filthy fat.
Ethnic meals may appear a good idea for dinner, but every time you eat Chinese for example – a normal menu comprising crispy duck, chicken balls and also spring rolls – you’re eating a lot more than you’d think. That equals, actually, to just under 3,000 calories (more than what the average man’s every day consumption should be) or around a hundred thirty gr of fat.
You do not have to be a diet professional, a fitness trainer or even a boot camp specialist to realise how incorrect that is. In the UK, it has been calculated that more than one in three individuals eat take-away food at least two times a week. And whilst all of the ectomorphes out there need not to worry, for all the others that might not be great news.
Take away foods (or, at this point, should it just be called ‘junk food’) is actually acceptable for the occasional treat, but it should not become a regular habit. Individuals who practise all sorts of sports and exercises are doing what’s right, but most of them are not aware of the fact that by eating the wrong kind of food after practising, they are just doing more damage than good.
